Witnessing the impact and seeing a PR mindset in action

There are moments in your professional life that stop you in your tracks. Moments of profound clarity where the impact of your work becomes undeniably, tangibly real.

For me, that moment was this past Saturday, 18th October 2025, at the UK Black Business Show (UKBBS). It was as if a higher power tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Pay attention. This is what it's all about."

I watched, with immense pride, as five of our PR Club members took to the stage and in front of a vast audience, demonstrated the transformative power of unlocking a PR mindset. They weren't just speaking; they were stepping into their authority, amplifying their voices with a confidence that comes from consistent practice and unwavering support.

This is the very essence of what our Club unlocks.

It’s in the discipline of logging into our regular sessions. It’s in the proactive use of our shared resources. It’s in the personal calls I make to provide support when I see a member on the cusp of a breakthrough. It’s in the powerful collaborations we foster amongst ourselves. This ecosystem is where growth is not just encouraged, it’s expected.

A case in point from the weekend: Black Entrepreneurs International, a dynamic network within our Club that is building an Investment Club with the mission of ‘Building Economic Might Using Tangible and Measurable Outcomes’. At the UKBBS, they didn't just have a stand; they made a monumental impact by purchasing an entire row of units to support over 12 member businesses on the day.

This is a powerful testament to our mission.

The mission of the PR Club is simple: to promote all that elevates us. While our presence at the UKBBS aligns perfectly with our commitment to promoting all things Black and beautiful, our purpose is universal. We are a community dedicated to supporting any business or individual ready to elevate and sustain their presence, personally, within their community, and across the globe.

This was a powerful start to our fifth year. And this is only the beginning.
