I read SWIPE over the weekend.  My goodness this is such a clever book!  Loved all the case studies but number 7 was my favourite. I’m absolutely itching for somebody to try that line with me so that I can smile and enthusiastically reply: “Yes, you’re so right.  I’m so glad you spotted that.  I absolutely want to be the first person you think of when that happens”.  What else are they going to say after that?

All the case studies were relevant, even the ones aimed at minors that I initially thought didn’t apply to me.  I hope you’re proud of yourself – you’ve really created something very relevant here.  So many times I’ve had to remind myself not to argue with fools on social media and this just provides so many tools for the perfect clap back, if indeed they are worthy of a clap back.

So thank you for this.  I can imagine coming back to it time and time again.  Oh, and that little video under the QR code was a nice touch.

So when’s the next book out? (I’m not joking!)

Hi Nicola, just finished your book and it's great! I really liked the breakdown and history surrounding trolling. Putting it in real life contexts made the whole concept feel more accessible and the issue less daunting. Also loved the case studies and the specific response strategies.
